Skating on Stilts

My colleague and friend Stewart Baker, who was DHS undersecretary for policy in the Bush administration and knows more about the intricacies of airline security than anyone I know, has a forthcoming book that touches on the problems addressed by the administration and the problems that were left unaddressed as a result of barriers thrown up by privacy advocates and their friends throughout European governmental agencies. The book is called Skating on Stilts and will be available in the New Year. In the meantime, Stewart is blogging on the Detroit terrorist attack and some of the failings of the system on his blog of the same name. Check it out.
