Slideshows for All

What would the Internet be without slideshows? In fact, I think the Internet gave the slideshow new life. Wasn’t it dying out, not long ago?

In any case, the slideshow now on our homepage has to do with a new theme park centered on Napoleon. Plenty o’ short jokes. I myself have done a slideshow for HuffPost Books. It’s on the Nobel Peace Prize and its laureates. (Go here. For the book it’s tied to, go here.)

In this slideshow, you’ve got your good, your bad, and your ugly. Who’s the ugliest? Well, probably Yasser Arafat. When the PLO chairman died, our cartoonist, Roman Genn, mourned deeply, so much did he enjoy drawing the old keffiyehed beast.

(Roman’s drawings uncensored by NR brass were, of course, the best. Not necessarily advisable to print — but the best.)
