So Keep It Up

Although the White House insists that there can’t be effective border security without amnesty for millions and a temporary worker program for hundreds of thousands, according to one of today’s fact sheets: “With Enhanced Enforcement, We Have Already Seen a Tremendous Change At the Border. The number of people apprehended for illegally crossing our Southern border is down by nearly 27 percent in 2007 from this point in 2006.” And that significant decrease was during a year when the Bush administration and the Senate were creating a big fat magnet north of the border by endorsing amnesty.
