In the course of this rant about how terrible misinformation is, Joe Scarborough says several things about Donald Trump that are flatly untrue, beginning with his alleged threat to execute Liz Cheney by firing squad.
I’m genuinely curious whether Scarborough doesn’t know the truth about these things or doesn’t care. If the latter, does he think it makes better propaganda to exaggerate, or is it simply more emotionally satisfying? It’s possible to make an anti-Trump case while being strictly accurate, but very few of his enemies ever manage to do it.
