So You Wanna Be in Pictures?

This looks like a great opportunity: a free filmmaker’s workshop, sponsored by the right-of-center American Film Renaissance:

Do you love great stories? Great, classic stories of individualism, heroism, liberty and the enduring human spirit are what inspired the founders of the American Film Renaissance to host this filmmaker’s workshop. This summer, thirty select participants will gather at the campus of UCLA, one of the world’s top film schools, for a master class in the art and business of filmmaking conducted by a team of successful Hollywood screenwriters, producers and other industry professionals.

John J. Miller, the national correspondent for National Review and host of its Great Books podcast, is the director of the Dow Journalism Program at Hillsdale College. He is the author of A Gift of Freedom: How the John M. Olin Foundation Changed America.
