In the last issue of the magazine, I reviewed Mary Eberstadt’s reissued and expanded book Adam and Eve after the Pill, Revisited.
Eberstadt’s work on topics related to the sexual revolution can sometimes be as familiar (or unfamiliar) as common sense. But it’s also highly original and farsighted. It’s amazing how far one can travel intellectually from the simple proposition that nature, or Nature’s God, intended human children to be raised in a dense network of kith and kin. Please read it.
