Jim Geraghty seems to have been spending a lot of his time on Twitter the same way I have over the last few weeks: muting, unfollowing, and losing respect for various people. But even before the current insanity I’ve often wondered whether I should unfollow people who — in my subjective opinion — aren’t offering intelligent commentary or should keep following them to have a sense of the full range of influential opinion. I haven’t settled on a satisfactory answer, yet, on Twitter or on Facebook.
