Speaking of Romney’s Stump Speech

With a few exceptions and some different emphases, it’s largely the same as the one he has been giving for months. A shrewd friend pointed out that he now talks about protecting the family not in terms of preventing gay marriage, but in terms of enhancing education and health care. But he has the same line in there about how people shouldn’t have kids until they are married, and in general, the speech is quite dull for those of us who have heard it over and over. One reason people think Romney has changed his presentation so drastically (and again, there have been some changes), is that it used to be that he was asked at every turn about abortion and religion, and now the conversation has moved beyond that.
