Spirit of America has set up a page in honor of Steven Vincent. Yesterday Steven’s widow asked that instead of flowers, anyone interest donate to Spirit of America, a group that (these are my words, not hers) group that like Vincent, is made up of individuals who go to the frontlines and to the folks at the frontlines of building a democracy and Iraq and finds out what is really going on and what is needed. Spirit of America works to get ‘em what they need–be it food, toys, journalism training, etc.
