Democrat Stacey Abrams lost the 2018 Georgia gubernatorial race against Republican Brian Kemp by just 1.4 points, but in their 2022 rematch, Kemp clobbered Abrams by 7.5 points. Despite the drubbing, Abrams told actress Drew Barrymore in an interview this week that she will “likely run again” for public office:

Abrams didn’t say which office she might seek, but with both of Georgia’s U.S. Senate seats filled by Democrats and the next Georgia gubernatorial race four years away, one has to wonder if she’s considering a vanity 2024 presidential campaign.
