Republicans have picked up the Alabama senate and the New Hampshire house. The GOP will now control both chambers in both states. These are the sixth and seventh state legislative chambers to go from Democratic to Republican control.

Republicans also picked up the OK attorney general’s and lieutenant governor’s offices from Democrats.
