Stewart Confronts Sebelius on Obamacare Flaws

https://youtube.com/watch?v=sCXNeHmx9Qw

The Daily Show host Jon Stewart challenged Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius on the Affordable Care Act’s less-than-stellar rollout. Stewart kicked off the interview by pulling out his laptop and offered a challenge: “I’m going to try and download every movie ever made and you’re going to try to sign up for Obamacare, and we’ll see which happens first.”

Stewart voiced the complaint that though the implementation of the law’s employer mandate was delayed a year, the individual mandate was not. He repeatedly pressed Sebelius on the issue, and didn’t seem to feel he’d received a sufficient answer after the interview.

Stewart described Obamacare as “functioning at, what seems to be, a level of incompetence that is larger than it should be.”
