Sorry I haven’t been able to hang out in the Corner today. I’m in Los Angeles for a panel tonight (details here). Right now I’m doing my home work while finishing my column, and I’m doing it while smoking a cigar outside. Yes, I’ve picked up that nasty habit, despite my previous writings on the subject — hey, don’t knock that op-ed, I met my wife because of it. Anyway, smoking outdoors in California feels like a crime. I guess that’s because it may well be.
