Jerry, it remains amazing to me that someone can argue that “that the arguments for the ideas forwarded on these shows are too often unworthy of the ideas being forwarded” when you began the conversation saying you don’t listen. But you’re not the first to do so or last who will.
Yes, there is a whole world out there and there are conservatives toiling and even being heard in it besides talk radio. But Rush Limbaugh has been a significant part of that whole world — he’s a household name, not being heard in a ghetto — encouraging and educating and inspiring and entertaining a lot of people and players in that world.
I have no doubt that Rahm & friends are loving Righties trying to distance themselves from Rush & Sean. That’s not a reason not to do it. But don’t fool yourself when you wave around approval ratings.
