Story for a New Decade

Over at Power Line, John Hinderaker does a fine job of drawing out the lessons for America, especially America’s young people, of the economic crisis in Europe. The contradiction between the younger generation’s infatuation with Obama and the dangers his policies pose for them deserves further attention. Yuval made a good beginning. But there’s a lot more work to be done. Generational tension on economic issues is going to be a major theme in the coming decade. Over the long term, that battle could seriously undercut the Democratic party’s base.
