Is this the same story that Drudge had the exclusive on in
late-December that said the Times was holding the story so as not to
influence the election?
If so, it’s outrageous that they don’t want to hurt McCain’s chances
for the nomination, but they have no trouble torpedoing him in the
general.
It’s kind of like CNN saying that Carville and Begala won’t be on CNN
as pundits until the nomination is determined on the Democratic side.
It’s alright to have surrogates as pundits as long as it’s hurting the
Republican and not the Democrat.
