Well, shazam! It turns out that Craig Becker, Obama’s recess appointment to the National Labor Relations Board, is a stooge for cheap-labor employers hiring illegal aliens. Even though he’s been opposed by business groups for his almost certain support for unions, he’s on the record (audio here) opposing punishment for businesses hiring illegals. Now, at NLRB he won’t have any role in immigration enforcement, but instead of flatly opposing him, business should instead have lobbied for him to replace Janet Napolitano at DHS — then he and the Chamber would have gotten along swimmingly.
