The document Stanley talks about by Edward Leigh MP that describes how to make the British Conservative Party conservative again can be found here (PDF link). The central tenets are “Faith, Flag and Family,” which is pretty sound, although they oddly follow Stiglitz in advocating protectionism for developing nations (a philosophy described as “economic snake oil” by Cato’s Dan Griswold). Definitely worth a look.
