Subject: The Flight That Fought Back


I stumbled upon this documentary last night and COMPLETELY agree with your assessment. It was absolutely riveting, and I had the same observation regarding how very American the response was.

I looked at my husband and said, “Sorry, but I just can NOT imagine a bunch of French guys doing what these guys did. Any Europeans, for that matter.” Did you notice that among the many still photos of the victims that they showed, there were several shots showing them holding hunting rifles?

Is there anything in the Capitol to honor them? There ought to be.
