The assumption on all the TV shows this morning seemed to be that undecided voters have been glued to their television sets, watching the debates, listening carefully to what the candidates are saying on Iraq, terrorism, partial birth abortion, stem cell research and Social Security.
I suspect that most undecided voters have been glued to their television sets watching re-runs of “Bay Watch.”
I suspect that when most of them get their Sunday papers they turn to the Sports section or to Parade to see who J-Lo is dating.
My point: I don’t think we know squat about the dynamics of opinion formation among that segment of the public that has little interest in politics, AKA undecided voters.
