Sununu: ‘Biden Finally Got Something Right’

Former New Hampshire governor and Romney surrogate John Sununu told reporters in a conference call today that Joe Biden’s remark about the middle class today showed he was understanding the situation.

“Today is a very important day in American history: Vice President Biden finally got something right when he made the admission that the middle class has been buried in the last four years under President Obama,” Sununu said. “And I suspect it is probably because in his debate preparation he’s been looking at the statistics that are out there,” he added, noting that 23 million Americans are unemployed or underemployed.

“We look at what has happened over the past four years,” Sununu said later in the call. “There’s only one candidate … that has actually raised taxes on middle-class families, and there is one who is responsible for their pain as a result and that ‘s President Obama. He raised taxes twenty-three times. In the second term, as we look as what is going on, particularly with things like Obamacare, it is projected he will raise taxes by another 2 trillion dollars.”

Is a ‘Climate Lockdown’ Next?

You knew they would try to pivot off the draconian COVID policies and use climate change as the pretext to deploy the same rigid controls over our lives. Now, perhaps a trial balloon is being floated for a “climate lockdown.” The noxious idea is that we are at (yet another) tipping point, and that unless ... Read More

What’s at Stake in 2020

The death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg has clarified what is at stake in the 2020 election. It is not, as some believe, democracy itself. Nor is it, as others assume, our continued existence as a nation. Democracy will survive Donald Trump, and the United States of America will outlast Joe Biden. The question that 2020 ... Read More
