All right, let’s see if I can get away with this. My posting of that Serenity still featuring Jayne woke the Firefly addicts from their dogmatic slumbers. It is pretty generally agreed that Jayne has some of the best lines in the series. What, one of these readers wants to know, is my favorite Jayne line?
Well, it’s a target-rich environment, but “I’ll be in my bunk” gets my vote. I also like Jayne’s explanation that he only kills a man if A, or B, or C, or D. Naturally, A, B, C, and D encompass pretty much any conceivable set of circumstances.
