I am a (civilian) pediatrician at Fort Carson, Colorado. A lot of our patients’ parents, therefore, are – have been – will be in Iraq.

A soldier and his wife brought a baby in today for a checkup. The soldier (who was not in uniform – and perhaps was home for his two-week leave, I didn’t ask) had on a t-shirt which read across the back “Baghdaddy”.

I thought that was cool.
