Valerie Jarrett, a senior adviser to President Obama, was at the Capitol this afternoon to watch the final vote on “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.” National Review Online ran into her outside of the Senate chamber following the vote. She called the policy’s repeal a “historic moment” — an act that makes the United States a “more perfect union.”
