8. I’ve long thought that some of the best of Pope Francis, that tends not to make headlines, are some of his daily homilies. They are a leading the world in an examination of conscience, for anyone who is interested in the challenge. He’s a Jesuit spiritual director in the best sense, helping Christians be Christian. Today he preached on radical reconciliation. The stuff of real conversion.

9. I was reminded today that more people need to read two books by Dawn Eden: My Peace I Give You and Remembering God’s Mercy. Read these interviews here and here and I think you’ll see why.
