Well, I’ve arrived in sunny England…but my luggage hasn’t. The nice lady at the luggage complaint desk was very nice, but institutionally American Airlines was much less than reassuring. My luggage “might” make it to my hotel sometime “tomorrow evening” she said. This would merely be really annoying except that I am supposed to wear black tie at this Oxford debate and I can’t wait around. So, later today or first thing tomorrow, I’ll have to looking into renting a tux — and buying some other clothing. Oh, and the number the American Airlines rep gave me, doesn’t pick up. That’s not annoying at all.
Anyway, I’m going to sleep now. I’ll check in later.
