Did you see that Sen. Rein announced that Sen. Levin has dropped his
opposition to the nomination of Eric Edelman to be Under Secretary of
Defense for Policy and that they will let the vote proceed by a voice
vote or UC? Sen. Frist filed cloture yesterday and would have forced a
vote. Dems rolled.
