In lieu of a donation, I have (after a year or so hiatus) subscribed to NRODT. In addition, I am planning on giving the magazine as a gift to family and friends whom I know will be interested. I toyed with the idea of getting a subscription for some of my “more enlightened” extended family members, but fear it would be a waste of money and paper.
I so thoroughly enjoy NRO that I felt it necessary to support the franchise, while at the same time I once again will be able to enjoy the scowls of people who see me reading NRODT while waiting for a plane at LaGuardia or JFK.
