Thanksgiving with the U.S. Army

As I discussed in Special Thanks, Army officers and senior non-commissioned officers around the world served dinner to junior soldiers, yesterday. It’s an Army-Thanksgiving Day tradition.At Fort Jackson, S.C. – the nation’s largest Army basic training base – officers and senior NCOs in full dress-blue uniform served newly graduated soldiers (many of whom will be deployed to Iraq in less than a year) and their families.
