The Biden Campaign’s Overstated Brilliance

Regardless of how tonight shakes out, can we admit — now that it looks like President Trump will win Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina — that perhaps the “brilliant” Biden campaign strategy of disappearing and letting Trump hoist himself on his own petard was not as enlightened as some commentators have suggested?

I agree that making the election a referendum on the president was a wise decision, but the Biden campaign’s approach may have been more lazy than prudent.
