NR Webathon

The Final Countdown

National Review founder William F. Buckley Jr. (National Review)

As you have likely noticed, we’ve been holding a webathon to help raise money for all that we do here. So far, thanks to the generosity of our amazing community of readers, we’ve raised about $80,000. We’re planning on wrapping up the fundraiser on Monday, and we are hoping you would help us raise another $20,000 to close out our campaign.

While we don’t relish having to run webathons, the reality is that subscriptions and ad revenue alone are not enough to support all of our ongoing operations — to pay all the writers and editors as well as all those who work behind the scenes to produce our website and magazine, and to support the infrastructure that makes it all possible.

So, if you have not donated already, and value intelligent and principled conservative news and opinion that is committed to publishing the truth, we hope that you will take this opportunity to make a contribution of any amount – $5, $25, $100, $1,000, whatever makes you comfortable.

If you agree that National Review is a vital institution, there are two ways to support our current campaign. One is to give directly to National Review’s magazine and website. These contributions are not tax deductible, but they are incredibly important to our work and, of course, much appreciated.

Another is to join the kind donors who have already given an additional $34,000, by making a tax-deductible gift to National Review Institute (NRI), the 501(c)(3) not-for-profit journalistic think tank created by WFB to support the NR mission by sponsoring writing fellows and hosting events, seminars, and educational programs. Thank you again for all of your support.
