Things Shaping Up in UK

It looks like the Labour vote is holding up in many important areas, while the Conservatives are making good gains in England and Wales.  Scotland is voting for change by voting Labour (against the Scottish National Party, which is in government in Scotland).  It still looks like the Tories will be just shy of a majority, but the Labour strategy of claiming a victory via a “Progressive majority” coalition is failing because the Liberal Democrats aren’t holding up their part of the bargain.  Indeed, one of their most colorful MPs, Lembit Opik, lost badly in a seat he was expected to retain comfortably.  Things are actually still very interesting.
