Mildly interesting NYT story on the growth of think tanks in D.C. But what got my attention was the accompanying graph showing the growth in budgets from 1983 to 2007; it’s striking that, while every group listed has at least doubled during that time, AEI has seen almost no growth in 25 years. Since we have some AEI people here, does anyone know why?
