In response to this post, lots of readers suggest that Mickey should have debated a different kind of Boxer:
The trouble there is that Barbara Boxer would immediately take offense at being called a dog. And, his debate opponent would probably wander off and pee on Mickey’s shoes.
Update: Some readers note, it’s also bad politics to declare yourself opposed to puppies.
