Thomas Frank, Sell Out

Thomas Frank’s column on Blago is utterly predictable. Free market values poison public service, blah, blah. Blago’s not a liberal because he’s corrupt. Yada, yada, yada. Indeed, it seems that free market values poison everything they touch according to Frank. So, the $64,000 question is this: Isn’t his profession a calling? Doesn’t he churn out books and charge money for them? Isn’t he something like the House Goy of the Wall Street Journal? Why has he not been corrupted? Because real liberals can never be corrupted? Should we call him  Frank, The Incorruptible?
