Thoughts on the OBL Hunt?

Have any of my NRO colleagues conversant with military policy noticed or commented on the London Sunday Times article, “Get Osama Bin Laden before I leave office, orders George W Bush”?

The article says Bush has “has enlisted British special forces in a final attempt to capture Osama Bin Laden before he leaves the White House.” It states that the “Special Boat Service (SBS) and the Special Reconnaissance Regiment have been taking part in the U.S.-led operations to capture Bin Laden” in the northern Pakistani badlands. They are operating “across the Afghan border on a regular basis.” This “hunt was ‘completely sanctioned’ by the Pakistani government.” It involves “Predator and Reaper unmanned aerial vehicles fitted with Hellfire missiles.”

“They are prepping for a major battle,” says a Pentagon source.

I really like the sound of all this, but I’d like to know if people more knowledgeable than I am about such things read any significance into it.
