A solid speech, predictably well-delivered, but not one for the ages. Undeniably liberal in the parts about domestic economic policy, but not ridiculously so. In summoning public support, he paints a darker picture than is really accurate, perhaps ironically undermining the confidence he wants to instill. He already looks older.
