Today on “Uncommon Knowledge”

In this fourth of five segments of my interview with the author of World War IV, Norman Podhoretz draws on his personal experience of more than four decades of warfare—cultural warfare—to compare the war in Vietnam with the war on Islamofascism.  Forty years ago, Norman explains, the mainstream media so subverted our efforts in Vietnam that “reality ceased to count.”  Today the “war at home” is just as intense—but now, thank God, there are alternative media.

Why Commentary, Rush Limbaugh, and, yes, NRO matter so much.  And why “I yield to no one in my detestation of the liberal and left media.”
