Members of the NR family, especially those who were on the November 2011 cruise, will be stricken to learn that Tony Blankely has died. We knew that he had stomach cancer, but he seemed so vibrant on the cruise that’s it’s shocking to learn of his death.
Tony was a man of integrity, intelligence, and good sense. Over the course of many years, I never saw him do a petty or mean thing. He ably defended conservatism and he was always a delightful companion.
Deepest sympathies to his wife Lynda and his three children. This is a hard loss.
