So, Bill Clinton wants Obama to keep his, “you can keep your policy” promise. Methinks, he is just worried about the impact on Hillary in all this.
But that point aside, it’s too late. CJ John Roberts ruled that the government does not have the power to force commerce. That should apply to both the buyer and seller, right?
Nor, in all likelihood, would the companies be eager to so do. Working through millions of policy cancelations and reinstatements would be an administrative nightmare.
It seems likely that at least some canceled people will stay canceled and be unable to buy–or afford–new Obamacare policies. This administration has so much to answer for!
