Toqueville Would Have Loved This

Touring this country a century-and-a-half ago, the French nobleman found astonishing the ability of Americans to rally to a cause, organizing themselves, distributing pamphlets, and causing politicial ruckuses.  He’d have like what happened today:  Before the Beijing Games have even ended, a group has formed to protest the Russian incursion into Georgia by demanding a new venue for the Games of 2014.

The site, RevokeTheGames, makes its case—and pulls together every news report and opinion piece on the subject you could possibly wish to read.  Bracing, provocative—and really very handy.  Take a look.
