Put those sleds away, kids — you should be worried about climate change instead, says one MSNBC host. The Cycle co-host Touré just can no longer “play along” with the excitement and fun that accompanies snowfall.
“I can only do so many fun, awestruck stories about the weather and these extraordinary weather events without saying this is because of climate change,” he said on Wednesday. “When we act like all this is fun, you know what we’re doing? We’re dancing on the deck of the Titanic.”
His co-hosts, who had earlier shared their fun experiences in the snow, were taken aback by the gravity of Touré’s warning; “That was a pretty heavy comment,” co-host Krystal Ball responded.
