Trump Slams Bush: ‘I Don’t See Him Winning; I Don’t See There’s Any Way’

Following the trend inaugurated by Laura Ingraham at CPAC earlier this morning, Donald Trump took to the CPAC stage and lit into Jeb Bush.

“Jeb Bush — he’s in favor of Common Core, he’s weak on immigration,” Trump said. “I don’t see him winning; I don’t see there’s any way, but you people are going to have to make your own choice, who knows.”

Trump said he’s really disappointed in the Republican party, and thought Mitt Romney let the country down in 2012.

“That was an easy election to win,” he said. “I think actually easier than the one coming up.”

Trump insisted that his flirtation with a presidential campaign is not just for show, and was greeted on stage to a standing ovation from a packed auditorium. In a Q-and-A with talk show host Sean Hannity after his speech, Trump said he’s strongly leaning toward running for president because he doesn’t want to see the GOP lose again.
