MSNBC reported on Monday that Reagan speechwriter Peter Robinson was helping to craft Trump’s acceptance speech. In a blog post on Ricochet, Robinson says that’s not accurate. He consulted with Larry Kudlow and Trump aide Stephen Miller a couple of weeks ago, he says, but then the Trump campaign asked him to sign a non-disclosure agreement. 

According to Robinson, he refused to sign the NDA because it included the following provision: 

To speak to the media, to name one provision, the NDA would have required me to seek approval from Trump’s representatives—in perpetuity.
