Trump signed a letter of intent to build a Trump Tower in Moscow? During the campaign?

Why, yes and yes. As Allahpundit and others pointed out, this is a pretty good indication that Trump didn’t think he was going to win. Trump factotum Michael Cohen has lots of assurances why this isn’t as bad as it seems. But, at this point, is there a reason anyone would have confidence in any of them?
