The Corner

Twenty Three Fifty Five

As many of you know, I’ve just published my first novel–a historical thriller called The First Assassin. Yesterday afternoon, its Amazon.com sales rank hovered around #50,000. This morning, I was delighted and grateful to see that it has jumped to #2,355. We’re still a long way from the best-seller lists, but considering that I have done virtually no publicity, apart from a few mentions on The Corner and e-mails to friends, this is a smashing success. To those of you who have ordered copies: Thank you very much. Everybody else: I hope you’ll give it a chance. A dedicated page on my personal website has lots of info, including an excerpt, blurbs, close-up views of the front and back covers, the story behind the book, and so on.
