Great news, everyone! In order to ensure people can continue to express themselves freely and safely on their widely-used social network, Twitter is forming a “Trust and Safety Council“! More than more than 40 organizations are joining the council in an effort to create “greater compassion and empathy on the Internet.”
The only glitch marring the announcement is that the first meeting of the Trust and Safety Council was briefly disrupted by a woman in orange shorts throwing a sledgehammer, as seen in this security footage:
Rest assured, the “information purification directives” and the effort to build “a garden of pure ideology” will continue.
