The Susan B. Anthony List was in Geneva, Illinois, today. As was Planned Parenthood, as promised.
This was the third stop of the SBA List tour; they outside the office of Rep. Randy Hultgren to thank him for voting to defund Planned Parenthood during the Continuing Resolution amendment debate on the House floor recently. Because no good deed goes unpunished — especially in politics — members who dared to cast their votes against Planned Parenthood continuing to receive taxpayer funding are getting well-organized grief in return.
Gratitude is in order — which is why SBA List is on tour.
Well, they are on the road both to say thank you and to try to change the votes of some others (Bill Owens in New York, Marcy Kaptur in Ohio,Jason Altmire in Pennsylvania, …) along the way.
The dueling bus tours continue through Thursday.
