Sheehan has vowed to continue her Texas vigil through the rest of President Bush’s vacation ugh Bush’s August vacation, unless he meets with her. She began her protest 10 days ago and has since been joined by more than 100 anti-war activists.

Emphasis mine.

Update: Several readers have made a strong case that this is the widowed remnant of the word “through.” I could spend a long time explaining why they think this is the case or I could just say they’re probably right. They’re probably right (and we shan’t be debating it for the rest of the day).
