This “Unit” Doesn’t Tilt Left

Yesterday I noted that CBS’s new counterterrorism Special Forces drama The Unit debuted to strong numbers. A number of emailers have informed me that if the pilot, written by David Mamet and Shawn Ryan, is indicative of the series, conservative viewers may start to tune in without fear of typical Hollywood left-leanings. A former Special Forces vet even wrote in with high praise — he and his SF pals watched the show, liked it, and will watch again.
